Why Europe?
Europe has engaged in the protocols of Kyoto, Kopenhagen and Cancun through "the 2020 directive" which committs the European partners by 2020 to a 20% reduction in green house gases, 20% energy savings and 20% of European energy generation from renewable sources. To meet these objectives European countries are offering attractive feed-in-tariffs to stimulate green investment, supported by E.U. subsidy programs.
